  THE REIGN OF GOD IN BELEIVERS’ LIFE  “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah, and he will reign for ever and ever." [Revelation 11:15]. What is “THE KINGDOM OF OUR GOD” in this passage? This is the reign and rule of God, it is God having influence – power – control and dominion in the life of his people. Jesus brought into our lives the power and glories of the kingdom of God.   Thus it is written,   “But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you..” [Matt. 12:28].  The song writer wrote, "heaven came down and glory fills my soul......" Yes we can sing that song over and over again because heaven has filled our longing soul with glory and rest.   BE COURAGEOUS  “This is my command--be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9   What is courage?  Courage is Bravery, it is Fearlessness, it is Boldness and it is the strength to speak and act without fear when we are in difficult and dangerous situations.  To have courage is to be confident and even willing to suffer for what we believe.   A courageous person is not afraid of challenges, NO, not atall: they are “not afraid of adversity; his heart is firm, trusting in the Lord”. Psalm 112:7 ESV  Furthermore, Jesus said, “I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 ESV.   To take heart is to be courageous; it is telling us to be strengthened in our hearts no matter the challenges that may arise.   LIGHT OF THE WORD Psalm 119:105 says, "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path."  David use the same word interchangeably... GOD'S GOOD WILL TOWARDS MEN.... Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. Luke 2:14. KJV. And NIV and some other versions tells us "..... and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests." Grace brings God's good will, peace and favours to mankind. In the place of worry, anxiety, confusions, restlessness comes in the grace of God. He who taps into the grace in him or her lives a worry free life, they rest in Christ love and promises, they trust in his power of grace to take care of things for them...... TRUE FAITH “For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that overcomes the world – our faith.” (1 John 5:4) “Jesus said to him, If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” (Mark 9:23) It is important we understand What faith is all about before we go further in this teaching. So then, what is faith?  The dictionary defines faith as “belief in, devotion to, or trust in somebody or something, especially without logical proof.” It also defines faith as “belief in and devotion to God.” The Bible has much more to say about  faith and how important it is.  Faith is to believe and to think, talk and act on what you believed When you do that then what you believed will  become a material reality.  Simply put, the biblical definition of faith is “trusting in something you cannot explicitly prove.” This definition of faith contains two aspects: intellectual assent and trust. GRACED WITH GOODNESS AND MERCY. Jesus gave himself for us as a ransom so that we may have the right kind of life that God has ordained for us before the foundation of the world. What kind of life is it that we are talking about? It is His “Good life” (GOODNESS). David said , “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life…” [Psalm 23:6a]  The word, ‘surely’ in Psalm 23:6 means, ‘certainly’. It’s 100% guaranteed. It is undisputable that God’s goodness and mercies will always be there with you. When God promises us that goodness and mercies will follow us all the days of our lives, it means every day, in our entire or whole life that what will continually be with us are His goodness and mercy. This is our portion in Christ. What is goodness?  Goodness in this verse means “a life filled with good things, beauty, and favour.” It also means fortune, riches, abundance prosperity or wealth. GOD WILL MAKE A WAY Thus saith the LORD, which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters;  Isaiah 43:16-19   These words by Don Moen came to mind as am writing this: God will make a way  Where there seems to be no way; He works in ways we cannot see, He will make a way for me. Truly  God always makes a way for His people. Sometimes when we are going through some tough times in life, we tend to forget that God will make a way of escape. We forget the record of Scripture, that God has never forsaken His people, and that in the darkest of hours He has always made a way. You may be facing a dead end right now and you feel helpless and are loosing hope and giving up. Everything around you may look gloomy and difficult and you can't seem to see a way out, but if you will trust God and keep on moving in faith, even when you don’t see a way, he will make a way.
