  CHOSEN BY GRACE Paul in 1 Corinthians 15:10 says, “But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.” (KJV). Sometimes we tend to think that we get through in life by our own power or self-righteousness but I have come to understand that we are nothing outside the grace of God. No matter how educated you are if grace does not work with you, your education is meaningless, it will take you nowhere. (ESV).  Now someone may ask, Why should we rejoice when we are not yet seeing the manifestation of what we desire? Why should I rejoice in the midst of calamities and sorrow?
