SIN OF UNBELIEF

SIN OF UNBELIEF
Elizabeth I. Abaye

“But whoever has doubts is condemned if they eat, because their eating is not from faith; and everything that does not come from faith is sin.” Romans 14:23

Many believers do a lot of religious things but not with faith. They operates in the place of "form". Having a form of godliness, but SIN OF UNBELIEF the power thereof: from such turn away. 2 Timothy 3:5  Thus they live in unbelief.

We are in the Kingdom where faith rules, anything done outside of faith displeases the Father, But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:6 KJV

Now! Paul tells us in Romans 14:23 that "Everything that does not come from faith is sin" In the essence, when you function in unbelief, you are practically living in sin and denying yourself of God's blessings.

The sin of unbelief is when you doubt the promise of God, it is when you mistrust God’s power, and it is limiting God to a particular level.

_The sin of unbelief is to doubt God’s grace; to doubt His love and to doubt His power that is made available for you_ .

The sin of unbelief is the masterpiece of Satan; he promotes it just to rob people of their blessings. Satan always insinuates a doubt on God’s promise.

This was what he did with Eve, He said to her, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’ Genesis 3:1. Here he promoted doubt, curiosity and insecurity.

A lot people Pray but doubt God's ability to answer their prayers because they think He will either say yes or no, it depends on how God feels about their request or maybe how God feels at that moment.

Oh how we use human mind to view God and put Him on a scale. How we think that he says no to some of our request and yes to some if He feels like. The Son who has been in the Bossom of the Father declared to us how God deals with our request, He says, "And whatever you ask for in prayer, believing, you will receive.” Matthew 21:22 (AMP) Furthermore, in Mark 11:24 He says, For this reason I am telling you, whatever things you ask for in prayer [in accordance with God’s will], believe [with confident trust] that you have received them, and they will be given to you. (AMP) Whatever means anything... Yes anything at all that you will ask the Father in accordance to His Will for you, it is your right to have them all.

As God's children we ought to know and understand His Will for us thus we are to pray in agreement with His Will and no prayer prayed inline with His Will that has the tag of No on it... it is YES and AMEN.

As a result of this wrong mindset of Yes and No to prayers, many are double minded children of God.

James warned against double mindedness, he said, “But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavers is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. James 1:6-8

To be double minded is a sin of unbelief: for a double minded person is unstable in all his ways, such a believer cannot receive from the Father, their request eludes them.

We are born again by grace through faith, why should we now come to the low level of functioning in the realm of our senses.

Beloved we need to be strong in faith, because when we are strong in faith then we will be able to stand on the promises of God and hold on to them without wavering. And even when everything around us is proving otherwise or showing impossibility of reaching it, we still stand on our watch knowing that it will certainly come to pass.

We would always receive the manifestation of our request if we always believe God's mightiness.  _If we believe and confess that the Most High God is our Jehovah-Jireh [the Lord our provider] then we will not doubt His ability to supply all our needs._

Whenever anyone doubts God's abilities, they are cut off from enjoying His abundance blessings. Such was the case of the man who doubted the word of the Lord declared through His prophet Elisha..... (See 2 Kings 7:1-20)

Let's take a look at verse 19, "And that lord answered the man of God, and said, Now, behold, if the Lord should make windows in heaven, might such a thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes but shalt not eat thereof"— 2 Kings 7:19.

The manifestations of God’s word in our life can only be limited by one thing, UNBELIEF All that the Father expects from you and me is to just believe and He will take of the rest.

He has given us the name of the only begotten Son for our accessing his treasures of blessings for us.

The name of our Lord Yeshua is to us a source of strength, of safety, of protection, of deliverance, of healing, and of success. It is a strong tower that when we run to Him in times of our needs we are certain to find rest to our soul.

The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runs into it, and is safe. Pro. 18:10

Those who put their trust in the name of the Lord are never put to shame nor disappointed. Lord and Savior has given us the right or authority to use His name any day, any time, in every season of life. "And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it." (John 14:13,14)

This means that those that believes in Him have been given the power of attorney, the Legal right to use His name for the right purpose. Power of attorney is the authority to act in another person's behalf, It is authorization or a permission given by one person to another to take action on his behalf.

You have the authority in the name of Yeshua to ask anything and it shall be done unto you, there without any doubt or second thought, ask in faith and you will have whatsoever your heart desires.

Shalom!!!
