GOOD OF THE LAND

Image
GOOD OF THE LAND  Elizabeth I. Abaye   "If you are willing and obedient, You shall eat the good of the land; Isaiah 1:19 NKJV God did not call us to a life of shame, reproach or lack and want but to inherit blessings. God want us to prosper in every area of our lives but He does not want us to live our lives in misplaced priorities Of a truth, material blessings are added bonus to our relationship with God. However, we must understand that our material and physical prosperity are hinged on our willingness to obey Him. We have been brought into the land of glory, prosperity, abundance, and honor, God chose us out of the world that we can enjoy His blessings on earth and reign in life. The scripture says "it is the good of the land" The Amplified versions refers to it as “the best of the land”; Oh yes, the best of the land is our portion in Christ Jesus. The good of the land refers to possessions, prosperity, fruitfulness and increase. It is God’s...

REJOICE IN HOPE Elizabeth I. Abaye In Romans 12:12 Paul wrote , Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. (ESV).  Now someone may ask, Why should we rejoice when we are not yet seeing the manifestation of what we desire? Why should I rejoice in the midst of calamities and sorrow? Why should I rejoice when I don't money to take care of my family and pay bills?  Beloved of God, we are to rejoice because we know that our heavenly Father will surely meet our needs. We are to rejoice because we know that all things are possible with him, we know that Jahovah Jireh will certainly answer His name in our lives, He  will supply all our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19 KJV We are to rejoice because He is ever with us, he will never leave us nor forsake us. As a result, we refuse to be discouraged but chose to rejoice. Child of God, you may have great expectations that everything around you s...

SIN OF UNBELIEF

SIN OF UNBELIEF   Elizabeth I. Abaye   “But whoever has doubts is condemned if they eat, because their eating is not from faith; and everything that does not come from faith is sin.” Romans 14:23 Many believers do a lot of religious things but not with faith. They operates in the place of "form" . Having a form of godliness, but SIN OF UNBELIEF the power thereof: from such turn away. 2 Timothy 3:5   Thus they live in unbelief. We are in the Kingdom where faith rules, anything done outside of faith displeases the Father, But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:6 KJV Now! Paul tells us in Romans 14:23 that "Everything that does not come from faith is sin"  In the essence, when you function in unbelief, you are practically living in sin and denying yourself of God's blessings. The sin of unbelief is when you doubt the p...

WE BEHELD HIS GLORY

Image
WE BEHELD HIS GLORY   Elizabeth I Abaye   And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John  1:14 KJV John said, "They beheld his glory" in order words, with their eyes they saw the glory of God in the person of our Lord Jesus Christ. Child of God I tell you, What you see and experience, no one takes its memory from you.... It sticks with you and it keeps your faith active and strong. Christianity is not in theory but something to be experienced in our lives, she is a living organism that showcases the manifestations of the goodwill of God in the life of His children. He told us in Isaiah 43:7,  Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him . Beloved understand that you and I are created for the manifestations of the glory of God and thus it is evident that through us t...

BREAK UP YOUR FALLOW  GROUND Jeremiah 4:3, “Break up your fallow ground, And do not sow among thorns." Just like farmers have to prepare the ground to bear fruit, we must prepare ourselves to receive from God this year. We must be ready for greater glory. The expression, “Break up your fallow ground" means, to prepare your minds to bring forth fruit unto God. To break off your bad habits; clear junks from your hearts, work on your attitude, take away hatred, bitterness, lust, and greed. These are thorns that has been chocking your seeds, preventing them from germinating, and growing to maturity to producing fruits. In our passage, Jeremiah makes the people to understand that if they do not "Break up their fallow ground They will be sowing among thorns."  In other words, they will sow seed, but because they didn't bother to prepare the soil and pull out the thorns, the seed will have little or no effect.  You can't keep being the s...

COME UP HITHER

Image
COME UP HITHER And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them. Revelation 11:12 KJV The call of the Spirit of God is always to a Higher Place, to see more, to know more, to receive more and to be more in God. The Christian Life by design is one of ever increasing glory ..... No glory is ever enough, we are to Go Up Hither for more glory because it is always from one level of glory unto another. 2Corintians 3:18 says, But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. Similarly, in Proverbs 4:18 we are told, But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day . There is always more and more and more for us to grasp in Christ but for us to get them, we must Go Up Hither. It is in the place of Going Up Hither ...
