SEASONS OF HARVEST. 


We have been made to understand by the scriptures that there are times and seasons in a man's life.... "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven..... A  time to plant, and a time to harvest" Eccl. 3:1, 2  ". Certainly after planting we are expected to harvest and enjoy the benefits of our labour.

It is our time, it's our season, it's our moments, our set time or appointed time of harvest...... for we have waited so long for this season. And nothing is stopping us from achieving this great era of harvest no matter what. 

Jesus said, "Do you not say, 'There are still four months and then comes the harvest'? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest" (John 4:35)

We must stop procrastinating and begin to harvest because the harvest is ready.

The scriptures in Psalm 65:11 says, "You crown the year with a bountiful harvest; even the hard pathways overflow with abundance." Assuredly, God has crowned and anointed this season for us with the oil of harvest, there is the fragrance of harvest everywhere for us, therefore even when the economy of the world is deteriorating, we shall be rejoicing in harvest.

 Oh even the word of Job confirms this, for he said “When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up; and he shall save the humble person.” Job 22:29.... Therefore let it be known to you child of God that there is a lifting for us both in this season and beyond.

Furthermore we see the Lord of harvest also doing it in the days of old in Genesis 26:12 “Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him.” At a time when there was drought in the land, when others could not harvest after sowing because their seeds were being destroyed in the ground, the grace of God made Isaac to harvest in the season of supernatural harvest.

We have been admonished by our Lord Jesus Christ that God is the Lord of harvest when he told us to "Pray for the Lord of harvest to send in labourers....." Matthew 9:38. This is a revelation of the nature of our God, he is the one who has the power to cause harvest to come. He is in charge of harvest, He is the Master, the sovereign one over all things.

There is no way that the hardships of the world will have effect in our lives because we have the presence of the Lord of harvest dwelling in us and the scriptures says, “The Lord knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever. They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied” (Psalm 37:18-19). Yes we shall be satisfied with the good of the land no matter how difficult or barren the land may seem.

Add caption WHEN GOD IS        YOUR            SOURCE Psalm 84:11, says: “No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly.” At the time when I and my family were going through some very difficult time, a period when all hopes was lost, and all was gloomy it seemed as though God has forgotten us and that God does not give good things to His children.  But in the midst of it all, we never lose our trust in God, we continued to ask of Him in prayers that our situation may change and He did not disappoint us. We made Him our source of supply for every need, we trusted Him for every detail of our life and we are still doing that till date. This is because we have come to know that God gives the best and His gifts has eternal value and anything the world didn't give you, it can't take from you.
