FROM BITTERNESS TO SWEETNESS

Image
FROM BITTERNESS TO SWEETNESS When they came to the oasis of Marah, the water was too bitter to drink. So they called the place Marah (which means "bitter"). Ex. 15:23 The Israelites having journeyed for days without water in the wilderness was exhausted. The entire area is a wilderness and no water. Suddenly there is hope, they see water before them. On sight of the river, after three days of thirst, they heaped a sigh of relief. At last there is water before them...  Oh how joyous they must have been to find a relief.... But wait a second, their joy quickly turned sour, the blessing of the water was not what they expected, it is a bitter water. The only water turned to be “bitter”; bitter is form the Hebrew word for “marah”. Their joy turned to sorrow, their soul was in pains, "how could God do this to them", they must have thought. They all complained and murmured as a result of the bitter water. This showed that their hopes were dashed. They wo...

PROSPERING IN ALL THINGS

Image
PROSPERING  IN  ALL THINGS The scripture in Psalm 1:3 says, " And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper." Here we see the life of the new creation man in Christ, it is living the kingdom life of prosperity in all his or her ways in this world. It says "WHATSOEVER he does shall prosper" not some things.... We are to experience prosperity in every path of life. The new creation man have been uprooted from the realm of the life of unfruitfulness and unproductivity unto the realm of prosperity in all things. This is because they have been chosen,  cultivated and secured through the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. We where told of Abraham that " The LORD blessed him in all things" (Genesis 24:1).  This is because God indeed blesses those who are his. No one in him lacks anything good. He makes all provision avai...

THE WORD MADE FLESH   “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” John 1:14. In order word the word became a being that can be seen and touch. He was made real. Who is this word that became flesh? He is in the person of Jesus Christ, thus the word is a being not just a spoken word. Every promises of God to you is to become flesh in your life and not to remain in the spiritual realm. But this can only happen when you take your place in the word, declaring him day and night. Every promises of God to you is to become flesh in your life and not to remain in the spiritual realm. But this can only happen when you take your place in the word, declaring him day and night. The word is ever living and its ever active, he  always brings about changes in the life of those who declares him and make him manifest in their lives The word is full of glory, thus anyone...

ENJOYING GOOD LIFE IN CHRIST

Image
ENJOYING GOOD LIFE IN CHRIST David in Psalms 23:6 proclaimed, “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.” God wants you and me to enjoy good life everyday in Christ, it gives him pleasure when we are living out his abundance here and now. The good life is a life where you can daily experience God’s best in everything you do. It is a life if honour and virtue.  In such life, the ordinary people who are in Him becomes extraordinary by His nature impacted in them thus they live the extraordinary life. They experience heaven on earth. They reflect the glories of God in their life and their life show forth the praises of God. When you look at your life right now does it reflect the glory of God? Does it seem exciting? Would you boldly recommend your type of life to someone else?  There is no complex in a life in Christ. A believer is to enjoy the goodness of God all the days of hi...

DAYS OF VISITATION “THE LORD JEHOVAH has done these things for me in the days in which he regarded me to take away my reproach among the children of men” Luke 1:25. There is always a time of remembrance, a period when the LORD looks upon us with favour and begin to bring into our lives uncommon blessings. A time when the LORD says enough to the manipulations and reproaches of the wicked ones, a season when he says no more misfortune. Certainty situations are never forever for those who are rooted in Christ Jesus, those who call upon him day and night for surely he will arise and avenge their case in the day of his visitation. In the days wherein he will looked on them with a favourable eye, with a look of love and mercy thus he will remove shame and disgrace. When this was done to Elizabeth, she exclaimed “ Thus the Lord has done for me in the days when he looked on me, to take away my reproach among people.” (ESV).  You also will experience the day of the L...

THE VICTORY OF FAITH “…..And this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith”.  I John 5:4. John clearly states that the believer overcomes the world. but how do they overcome? It is through FAITH. Through faith we conquer, we subdue, We daily live victoriously as we exercise our faith. Faith is our anchor, our strength, our drive. There can be no victory outside faith. We came into the kingdom by faith, we are also sustained by that same faith. Faith is a product of God’s consciousness in us. It is the response of the heart to God. Faith is knowing who God really is; and that he will do it. Faith is a force that keeps you going even when everything around you is proving impossible to reach your gaol. The strength of the believer is in their faith. Faith takes you to the undeserved, unqualified, and unusual position. A man or woman of faith does things in an unusual way, even when everything around them is saying no.

"THE ALL-SUFFICIENT GOD. Gen 17:1 ...Jehovah appeared to Abram and said to him, I am the All-sufficient God; Walk before Me, and be perfect. There are two words  in "ALL-SUFFICIENT" first God is our all in all, the complete, the fullness, the overall. Secondly he is "sufficient" If you have a sufficient amount of something, it's enough —  just right. 1. as much as is needed; equal to what is specified or required; enough 2. competent; well-qualified; able . Possessing adequate talents or accomplishments; of competent power or ability; qualified ; fit. Therefore God being our ALL-SUFFICIENT God it means he is possessing adequate ability, he has as much as its needed to provide for us all. He has all that we require to achieve all that is expected of us to achieve. Thus is is well able, more than able to accomplish what concerns our daily needs.
