ENJOYING GOOD LIFE IN CHRIST

Image
ENJOYING GOOD LIFE IN CHRIST David in Psalms 23:6 proclaimed, “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.” God wants you and me to enjoy good life everyday in Christ, it gives him pleasure when we are living out his abundance here and now. The good life is a life where you can daily experience God’s best in everything you do. It is a life if honour and virtue.  In such life, the ordinary people who are in Him becomes extraordinary by His nature impacted in them thus they live the extraordinary life. They experience heaven on earth. They reflect the glories of God in their life and their life show forth the praises of God. When you look at your life right now does it reflect the glory of God? Does it seem exciting? Would you boldly recommend your type of life to someone else?  There is no complex in a life in Christ. A believer is to enjoy the goodness of God all the days of his or her

DAYS OF VISITATION “THE LORD JEHOVAH has done these things for me in the days in which he regarded me to take away my reproach among the children of men” Luke 1:25. There is always a time of remembrance, a period when the LORD looks upon us with favour and begin to bring into our lives uncommon blessings. A time when the LORD says enough to the manipulations and reproaches of the wicked ones, a season when he says no more misfortune. Certainty situations are never forever for those who are rooted in Christ Jesus, those who call upon him day and night for surely he will arise and avenge their case in the day of his visitation. In the days wherein he will looked on them with a favourable eye, with a look of love and mercy thus he will remove shame and disgrace. When this was done to Elizabeth, she exclaimed “ Thus the Lord has done for me in the days when he looked on me, to take away my reproach among people.” (ESV).  You also will experience the day of the Lord&

THE VICTORY OF FAITH “…..And this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith”.  I John 5:4. John clearly states that the believer overcomes the world. but how do they overcome? It is through FAITH. Through faith we conquer, we subdue, We daily live victoriously as we exercise our faith. Faith is our anchor, our strength, our drive. There can be no victory outside faith. We came into the kingdom by faith, we are also sustained by that same faith. Faith is a product of God’s consciousness in us. It is the response of the heart to God. Faith is knowing who God really is; and that he will do it. Faith is a force that keeps you going even when everything around you is proving impossible to reach your gaol. The strength of the believer is in their faith. Faith takes you to the undeserved, unqualified, and unusual position. A man or woman of faith does things in an unusual way, even when everything around them is saying no.

"THE ALL-SUFFICIENT GOD. Gen 17:1 ...Jehovah appeared to Abram and said to him, I am the All-sufficient God; Walk before Me, and be perfect. There are two words  in "ALL-SUFFICIENT" first God is our all in all, the complete, the fullness, the overall. Secondly he is "sufficient" If you have a sufficient amount of something, it's enough —  just right. 1. as much as is needed; equal to what is specified or required; enough 2. competent; well-qualified; able . Possessing adequate talents or accomplishments; of competent power or ability; qualified ; fit. Therefore God being our ALL-SUFFICIENT God it means he is possessing adequate ability, he has as much as its needed to provide for us all. He has all that we require to achieve all that is expected of us to achieve. Thus is is well able, more than able to accomplish what concerns our daily needs.

FROM GLORY TO GLORY Elizabeth I. Abaye But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. 2 Corinthians 3:18 Over times, there have been a misconception about the glory of God in the believer. Some said it is entered into when we die, thus when people die they say they have been called to glory, however, the scripture told us otherwise. Peter made us to understand that we have been called in Christ to glory. "Seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence". 2 Peter 1:3 In this passage, Peter wasn't talking about a glory that is attainable in death but is letting us know what is ours in Christ in this life. We are giving spiritual birth by a glorious God, thus we inherited his glorious nature in us, we have His DNA. And th

UNDERSTANDING GOD'S WILL

Image
UNDERSTANDING GOD'S WILL.... PT1 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.  Ephesians 5:17 (ESV). God has a will for your life; your whole life has been settled in heaven before you were conceived. You are not here by chance; there is a “WILL”, there is always a “WILL”. You have been per-destined by God. It is important that you discover what His will is for you and be totally dedicated to that will and reign in life. What is the WILL of God? The will of God is His divine purpose or plan. It is what God has determined to be done or what God wants us to do. It is the concept of God having a plan for humanity, and desiring to see this plan fulfilled. God’s divine will is absolutely in contrast to the human will. In Matthew 6:10 Jesus ask us to pray for the Father's WILL, "Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Jesus through this prayer of God’s will being done, has revealed to us the need to de

GOD’S LOVINGKINDNESS

Image
GOD’S LOVINGKINDNESS "Thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee. Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name." (Psalm 63:3, 4). The word “lovingkindness” is two English words joined together “LOVING” and “KINDNESS.” We know that "God is love" (1 John 4:8). This means He is Affectionate, Caring, Passionate, and Tender hearted. He loves us beyond reasonable doubt and beyond our imaginations.  God proved His love and care for us when He gave up His only begotten son “JESUS CHRIST”. God is kind. In order word, He is merciful, compassionate, kind-heartedness, benevolent: thus He continually show us kindness, hence we are not consumed in spite of our short comings. Therefore God’s lovingkindness toward us is a prove of His divine perfections. Why is God’s lovingkindness better than life?" Because God is life in Himself and all life comes from Him. Life is material and nothing that is material c
